Today we have a guest blogger! Meet Madeline, a 14-year-old who’s here to talk about one of her all-time favorite podcasts as well as a book review.

PODCASTS

The Who Would Win podcast is an action packed adventure through the world of sci-fi, anime, and DC and Marvel comics. The duo hosting the show, James Gavsie and Ray Stakenas, are accompanied by a guest judge. They fill the hour-long show with witty banter, while monitoring an imaginary fight between the worlds most beloved characters.

If you have ever wondered who would win in a match up between Green Lantern Vs Voldemort  this is the podcast for you. This podcast is perfect for teens and adults alike. The show is PG 13 due to occasional brief language and inappropriate slang, but is an otherwise clean show. I would highly recommend listening to this podcast.

My favorite episode so far has to be Darth Vader Vs Captain American. I love how they bring so much information on the character’s training, abilities, strengths and weaknesses as well as fun facts. Overall it is a wonderful podcast.

BOOK REVIEW

While you’re on your fantasy spree, check out Keeper of the Lost Cities book series. This fantasy adventure series is perfect for teens and young adults. This thrilling storyline will hold your attention down to the last sentence.

The book is brimming over with elves with fantastical abilities,  mythical creatures, characters that you will fall in love with instantly, and a mysterious organization. As you wind through the maze that is this book you will join in the adventure with a young girl and her friends as they weave through the twists and turns of this thrilling tale.

I love this series! I am on book two Keeper of the Lost Cities Exile and it is wonderful. The book is well written and grabs your attention from the minute you open it. The characters are relatable, interacting with a balanced amount of funny and serious. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy.
